Monday, January 7th, 2008- I watched a movie, I am Legend, on 28-Dec-07, FOC with Dad and Mum. The folks think its a rubbish movie, i enjoyed it (maybe coz it was free? hahaha) though i didn’t understand why he had to die by sacrificing himself. Someone told me that if he didn’t die, then he won’t be a legend. But he will die eventually of old age rite?? Then he will still be a legend! Idiot.
- I went to attend a Fish concert, on 29-Dec-07, with EASH. It was my first concert after 5 yrs (last i attended was Ah Mei’s 2002 concert, yea, it was really that long ago), and even though Fish has a nice voice and nice songs, she doesn’t have the stage presence like Ah Mei. Guess i would have to wait for her next concert then. EASH wanted to go to the concert to see the special guest, who was Ah Xin from Mayday, rather than go for Fish. What rubbish. Idiot.
- Maria Sharapova Live! Back at the Indoor Stadium on 30-Dec-07, this time round with my Dad who had free tickets to the exhibition match. Well, as usual, when its free, the seats are shatty, right at the top of the Indoor Stadium, where Maria was sooo tiny. But i can’t complain since its free right? Was very one-sided in the first game, and i think SGreans are kinda un-sophisticated. Someone shouted: Go Maria! then the other end of the stadium would shout back: Go Anna! I felt so paiseh can…what if Maria and Anna think that we are a bunch of LC idiots?? Idiots!!
Blaaack Sheep Die Hard 4.0

Upon entering a room where someone was killed, Experience (ang moh lead actress) went: “OMG, the fengshui in here is terrible!”
Hahahaha!! That totally cracked me up!! Then there was the scene where they killed all the diseased sheep by using the sheep’s fart to blow everything up! Damm lame and corny, but i like!! Can’t believe that i watched it with my mom! haha!!
Die Hard @ 3.40 is omfg gooooddd! Graphics was overdone abit (the collapsing bridge, the F-35 which flew between the highways), how John McClane never seems to stop moving despite all the injuries amazes me, BUT it still rocks!! I hafn’t seen such an exciting action movie since god-knows-when. Maybe i should just stick to main stream and lay off on the art house flicks.

Thursday, June 14th, 2007Was to meet J for dinner so that she could pass me my present from the US of A. But turned out that she had 1/2 day off. So i rushed out to meet her at Orchard after hanging up the clothes. Sometimes i feel kinda dumb going all out to meet her to fill her time, help her carry things she’s buying for B, listening to her complain abt B and trying to come up with excuses for B so that she won’t feel so upset. But afterall, i think she’s still a good friend rite? =)
Ate at Cartel, gossiped about work, people, client. She bought me a tie. She wanted to buy me a super nice Kenneth Cole shirt, but there was only XL available =((. Then went window shopping at Coach, Wisma, Paragon before deciding to catch Fantastic 4 at Cine. Reached at 430 and there was a 440 show, but only left side seats, so i requested for the 5 show. J was like: but 440 show got seats what?! So fine lor, watch 440 one. The counter girl said: How about this couple seat? We both ignored her, hahaha…
I thought F4 was pretty ok, not too draggy unlike the POTC. Maybe it was the company =D The Silver Surfer was way cool though!
Took the train back after that, and it was decided that dinner was to be had at Bishan. She wanted Mos, so despite just having had Mos the day before, we headed for Mos. Then it was home. =)
Ocean’s 13
Wednesday, June 13th, 2007Caught Ocean’s 13 at Bishan @ 11am. No crowd, and i requested the counter girl to give me a “middle of the theatre” seat when she offered me 4 row from the back. The centre of the cinema is where the sound effects converge!
Witty show, though some of the stunts they pulled off were quite unrealistic. And i liked the part where they were trying to hack into the FBI’s database to change their appearance, one fellow asked: “Are you in yet?” The other guy: “I hate that question.” HAhahaha! Got hidden meaning one leh!!
Had lunch at Mos, paid my fine at the library (bloody hell, now it costs 15cents per book for being overdue. I thought it only costs 10cents), managed to find Prey by Michael Crichton and borrowed it to read.
Took 13 down to east coast road to Chin Mei Chin to buy the cupcakes that C wanted to buy on Sunday but wasn’t available. Luckily there were 5 left when i reached and i took them all! Then took 10 down to shenton way to give them to her. Apparently she was at client’s place, but luckily it was near office. It was a pek-chek day for her, and i hope at least i made her day better? 
Proceeded to gym after that.
Walking is good for health - Late post
Saturday, June 2nd, 2007I am a very tired man today.
In the morning, upon alighting at the VJC bustop, I waited for C, who reached 5 mins later. The walking then started. From the bustop–> underpass–> chalets–> stretch of seafood restaurants–> hawker/food centre–> Bedok Jetty–> sailing club where we registered for our windsurfing course!
After signing up for the course, we started our journey back on foot since there was no other form of transportation. Sailing club–> Bedok Jetty–> hawker/food centre (where we had lunch and stoned for awhile)–> stretch of seafood restaurants–> overhead bridge–> bustop. It was seriously very hot/humid simultaneously, and even though we tried walking in the shade, I think we both got sun burned. Haha.
C is the first girl that i know who shops alone and does not mind walking these long distances in the sun. Ok, she complained that she was melting etc, but I could tell that she wasn’t upset coz when i wasn’t really sure where the sailing club was and wanted to call my dad to check, she said it was ok to just keep walking to check it out. =) Other girls would have refused to move until i find out where the place is exactly.
C went home to rest after her tiring overseas trip (she just came back on Thursday night), and i called HX. I was supposed to call HX ard 2pm to arrange for Shrek 3, but i knew she was still sleeping, so i called her at 3. Apparently her phone conked out and she lost her contact list (that silly girl saved all her contact numbers on her phone and not SIM card). She was going to repair her phone, and so cannot meet me. I told her its ok, i will still be going sommerset, since i wanted to go for the archery shoot there.
She was insistent that she will come find me still, and we can watch the movie at a later time slot. Actually i watched Shrek 3 on Thursday already, courtesy of KK, but since i have arranged to watch with HX, i decided to watch it again with her since for the first screening, i was seated in the 2nd row from the screen, resulting in a less than satisfactory experience.
Reached Sommerset at 440, went to shoot arrows, and noted that the so called instructors were all JC students. Tried to smoke me about archery stuff, but i was too nice to expose them, haha!
All the shows were fully booked, ended up booking the 9.25pm show. As a result, i had 4 hrs to burn. Walked to CK tangs to look at wallet, walked to Isetan to compare price, then walked back to CK tangs to buy my BB wallet @ $95.40 (after 10% discount). I only paid $15.4 thou, heh. I seem to have a thing for brown colour. First my shoes, then now my wallet.
HX reached when she got a ride from her dad. Apparently it would cost $150 to repair her phone, so we went around looking at phones. However, there wasn’t any model she fancies (she’s looking for a phone model that noone else would be using. What a strange girl). Shrek 3 was hilarious, especially the pseudo-lying by pinnochio and the flash back of gingerbread man. And i noticed alot more random stuff about the movie the 2nd time i watched, eg donkey and puss held hands before they were teleported, resulting in the body swap. Movie ended abt 1045? I went home after that, HX stayed behind to wait for her friends to watch Pirates at 1230am.
Spiderman 3
Sunday, May 27th, 2007Yeah, watched it alone on a Sunday morning at PS.
Whilst on the way there in the train, i saw this ah pek (looks at least 60+ yrs old) listening and fiddling with his mp3 player! Woo…so hip sia! Actually i dunno if he was trying to figure out how the damm thing works (dunno even if the mp3 player was playing?!) or he was trying to read the lyrics or he was trying to find his fav song? Haha, but he still looks damm hip la!
Must remind myself to request for seats where there ain’t nobody to my left and/or right. There was this arsehole to my right who thought he owned the whole bloody armrest and occupied it the whole time. Nebermind, that i can still tahan, but he had the cheek to spread his arms further and eat into my personal space!! Damm you gay looking asshole.
I think i watch movies w/o thinking much. How come huh, i mean just by watching the movie there is already information/imagery overload, how come some people can come out and tell me “Oh, the morale of the story/movie is blah blah blah…” To me watching a movie is to relax and enjoy the beautiful people, wonderful scenary, brilliant camera work, etc and not to think so much? Oh well, i am odd i guess.
Spidey
Thursday, May 24th, 2007Never did realise that the movie has been showing for 3 weeks plus alr? Have been waiting because i don’t want to squeeze with people to watch the movie, but now…..with POTC3 showing full force in the theatres, there are so little time slots for Spidey!
I think i must be the only person in the world who has not watched Spidey yet. Anyone want to watch? Haha…

J jio-ed me to watch the movie on Sat. Given that i happened to be in office and was planning to leave ard that time to go home, and the fact that J’s such a pretty girl, and the fact that SHE jio-ed me and not the other way round, of course i agreed!
But by the time we reached PS, there were only the first row seats left! So we just had dinner and left disappointed. I asked if she wanted to watch on Mon, but she’s not very enthu abt it cos its a weekday.
So i came home and checked the movie timings for today and jio-ed her to watch the movie =)
A depressing movie given that they never show the part where Chris suceeds, only showing the part where he was broke, jailed, divorced, thrown out of his house, keep losing his bone scanner device… It wasn’t really the ideal way to end the weekend and start the week, but what makes her happy i am happy 2. I am a good friend! heh

3. Night at the Museum - With yappy, watched for only $3 thanks to her!
4. Curse of the Golden Flowers - Later with Dad & Mom, Dad has 2 free tickets! Heh!
5. Charlotte’s Web - Target to watch on Thurs bef 5pm Watched Borat instead! haha!
6. Death Note 2 - To watch next year! Watched on Sat 30/12 with Wing and Yappy
